The Mum's south Indian shtylleeee Coconut chutney which tastes yum with dosa/idly.
So here goes the recipe of the nariyal chutney...
Ingredients:

1 cup of freshly grated coconut
Chana daal [1 tbsp]
1 green chilly [May be half ]
Mustard seeds
Curry leaves [meethi neem]
Garlic [6-7 leaves]
Ginger
Mint leaves [Pudeena] optional
Coriander
Oil
1 red chilly, make it into 2 pieces
1. Roast chana daal in little oil until red.
2. Put coconut,garlic,ginger,coriander,green chilly,mint leaves,chana daal in the grinder.Add salt to taste.Add liitle water and grind them properly.
3.In a pan, prepare 'tadka' by heating little oil and adding mustard seeds,curry leaves and red chilly to it. Pour this tadka to the grinded mixture.
